Summerset Senior Living Throws a Big Celebration

RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - On October 17, with denim overalls, flannels shirts and boots, Summerset Senior Living of Rancho Cordova hosted resident seniors and guests to its harvest themed and greatly cherished 5th Year Anniversary Hoedown. Between swelling listeners’ emotions with gently picked steel guitar melodies and the rugged vocals of country music band, Big Trouble, and the vividly dressed and merry dancing of the Associated Square Dancers of Superior California, both patio wings and the residence were treated to a memorable autumn evening.

Randi Beasley, owner and Corporate Marketing Director was excited to see that “the event is growing by the year and helping to make the community more acquainted and integrated with the senior residence.” Being that harvest time is an intimate link to nature’s beautiful rhythm of seasons, it is not surprising that the annual event was a success, since harvest may remind senior generations of their own earlier and simpler days.

Rancho Cordova City Councilmember Linda Budge presented Beasley, accompanied by her daughter Carlie Beasley, Community Relations Director, with a proclamation plaque recognizing that “Summerset is the first senior care organization to build facilities in modern day Rancho Cordova,” and “Summerset Senior Living is committed to improving the lives of seniors in our community.”

The event finalized as owner Rick Beasley joined Randi and staff with a ribbon cutting, courtesy of Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce, and participating Fair Oaks Honorary Mayor Jacob Giorgi, his wife, Michelle Giorgi and Jimmy Larkin, Jr. Honorary Mayor.
