RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - Step into a world of vibrant cultural celebration on Saturday, May 11 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the eagerly-anticipated 15th annual Rancho Cordova iFest International Festival.

Presented by the Cordova Community Council, this free family-friendly event promises a night of multicultural delights such as music, dance, activities and flavors from around the globe.

Under the theme, "Small World. Big Party," iFest aims to showcase the ethnic diversity of the community while extending a warm welcome to newcomer groups, offering them a platform to proudly display their cultural heritage.

“We have a very diverse and ethnically rich city in Rancho Cordova that we celebrate once a year,” said Cordova Community Council executive director Shelly Blanchard. “It's an experience that allows one to feel as if they can truly travel the world without a passport.”

At the event, attendees can enjoy an array of free attractions representing diverse cultures worldwide. Highlights include camel rides, caricature artists, a virtual travel photo experience, Henna tattoos and Tarot card readings, From ancient traditions to modern delights, iFest offers a rich tapestry of global experiences for all to enjoy. The heart and soul of the event are the cultural performances that will grace the main stage featuring dances, music and rituals. 

As part of the festivities, iFest will also feature "Wines of the World,, sponsored by KP International Market offering attendees the opportunity to savor 12 exquisite wines from six continents. Tickets will be available for purchase online in advance, guaranteeing a spot at this exclusive tasting experience, along with receiving an iFest wine glass, available while supplies last. For those who prefer spontaneity tickets will also be available on-site during the event welcoming attendees to join the festivities.
