Rancho Cordova Welcomes New CFO Kim Juran

The City of Rancho Cordova welcomes Kim Juran, as the city’s new Chief Financial Officer.
Ms. Juran has sixteen years of finance experience, eleven of which are in local government finance. She previously served as the Director of Administrative Services for the City of Los Altos where she oversaw Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology.
“Kim brings a wealth of knowledge to the city that will build on the already solid reputation of our financial team. We feel very fortunate to have Kim as a member of our leadership team,” said Cyrus Abhar, City Manager.
Prior to Los Altos, she was the Administrative Services Director for the City of Auburn, the Director of Finance for the City of San Bruno, and she also worked at Stanford University in a finance capacity.
“I am excited to be joining the City of Rancho Cordova team. I have long admired the City’s reputation as a progressive organization and am looking forward to participating in the many innovative projects on the horizon,” said Ms. Juran.
A native of Lodi, Calif., Ms. Juran earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Southern California. She is relocating from the Bay Area with her family.
