In the past week, the Cordova High School varsity volleyball team has split two non-league home matches. On Monday, the Lady Lancers hosted and defeated Johnson 3-0; the final scores were 25-17, 25-11, 25-12. On Sept. 9th, also at Lancers Gym, Cordova hosted Sacramento. But the Lady Dragons pulled out a 3-2 win; final scores were 25-15, 23-25, 25-17, 25-22, 15-5.  Today, Friday, Cordova plays at Grant in another non-league match. Next Wednesday, Cordova will host Foothill to close out the preseason.
