RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - The City of Rancho Cordova is proud to announce that City Attorney, Adam Lindgren has been recognized in the 27th Edition of The Best Lawyers in America© for his work in municipal law. This marks Adam’s sixth consecutive year being recognized by Best Lawyers.

“We feel extremely fortunate to have Adam on our city team, and we appreciate his knowledge base, hard work, and dedication to the City of Rancho Cordova,” said Cyrus Abhar, City Manager for the City of Rancho Cordova. “Being named in The Best Lawyers in America© is well-deserved recognition,” he added.

Adam Lindgren was named Rancho Cordova’s City Attorney in 2006. In this role, Adam provides legal advice regarding city matters to the City Council, City Manager and city staff. He advises at City Council meetings, negotiates contracts, counsels the city on employee matters, drafts new laws for the city, and represents the city in any legal actions.

Adam is a member of the Meyers Nave law firm. In 2005, Adam was named Northern California Super Lawyer by San Francisco Magazine. He is co-author of a leading textbook for lawyers and planners, California Land Use Practice.

Adam earned a B.A. cum laude from Columbia University and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center where he was a Public Interest Law Scholar. He is a member of the State Bar and the League of California Cities.
