Business Expo and Job Fair Sponsored by KP International Market

RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - For the first time since August of 2019, over 100 vendor booths and at least 800 guests will converge on the Rancho Cordova City Hall North Area parking lot to share information and learn about the fantastic businesses that served our community. In addition, as a new feature, the Expo will now also serve as a "job fair," connecting as employers seeking employees with our attending guests.

Everything from financial services to health care, hotels, and restaurants to information on energy efficiency and IT rescue services – we have it all right here in Rancho Cordova. Guests can enter contests, pick up information on special events, find out how to set up an app, collect a give-a-way or two, and even have the chance to win some prizes. We will also have some very cool truck displays. In addition, area restaurants and caterers will offer an assortment of lunch samplings.

Along with the interactive business displays, eventgoers can take part in the Expo Job Fair. Guests can easily find vendors are participating in the job fair through bright-colored signage on the upper corner of vendor tents. Job seekers can chat with company personnel, learn what kinds of jobs are available, and find out how to apply for open positions.

It has been nearly two years since the Chamber of Commerce held the Business Expo and this year, we expect record attendance as the public is anxious to get out of the house and support all the great businesses that continue to serve our community during these past 18 months. COVID safety is a priority; the Expo is outside, with wide aisles and large booth spaces. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available.

Colorful billboards along Highway 50 have been promoting the event and a directed social media campaign via Facebook should help drive attendance. Outreach to large employers, small offices, residents, and community organizations help ensure our business community enjoys the opportunity to share their goods and services after a very tough year of pandemic operations.

Guests can enter contests, pick up information on special events, find out how to set up an app, collect a give-a-way or two and even have the chance to win some prizes. The Chamber urges all within the region to come by the Rancho Cordova City Hall and check out the Expo & Job Fair. This is a terrific opportunity to show our local business community how important they are to a thriving Rancho Cordova.

Parking and entry are free!
