RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - On August 3rd, the Rancho Cordova Area Chamber hosted their tenth ‘Elected Officials Reception.’ Guests gathered at a cocktail party setting at the Sacramento Marriott Rancho Cordova for the opportunity to meet the elected representatives who represent them at the local, regional, and federal levels. Over 100 business and community leaders engaged with twenty-two elected officials to share ideas, insights, and solutions to business challenges in today’s economic climate.

The Chamber also recognized two well-respected public servants representing their respective constituencies for a combined 89 years. Honored were Supervisor Don Nottoli for his tireless work serving the fifth Sacramento County Supervisorial District and State Senator Jim Nielsen for well-representing much of Northern California in the California State Senate and Assembly.

Advocacy is a vital responsibility of this Chamber. We value our relationships with elected officials and work diligently to maintain open communication channels. The annual Elected Officials Reception is an integral part of our advocacy efforts.
