RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) – On August 17, 2022, the Cordova Recreation & Park District (CRPD) Board of Directors were honored to presented Supervisor Don Nottoli with a Resolution recognizing over 40 years of dedicated service to Sacramento County and the residents of CRPD.

Supervisor Nottoli has always maintained a visible presence in the CRPD community, from attending important events like the White Rock Community Park groundbreaking and Rosemont Community Park Renovation ribbon-cutting, to hosting workshops on a variety of topics important to the community. He has worked tirelessly to advocate for CRPD, including securing Community Development Block Grant funding for the playground at White Rock Community Park, play equipment at Hagan Community Park and the renovation of Rosemont Community Park.

“We always appreciated Supervisor Nottoli’s support, thoughtfulness, kindness and leadership”, said CRPD General Manager Patrick Larkin. “He looked for funding and partnership opportunities for CRPD to make our services and facilities better and for that I am grateful.”

Supervisor Nottoli has consistently spoken to the heart of our community by being invested in people and recognizing the special contributions of volunteers, by being a fixture at the annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon at the Neil Orchard Senior Activities Center and by honoring the Outstanding Senior Volunteer of the Year at the Board of Supervisors meeting.

He has endeavored to form strong relationships within the CRPD community, always taking the time to get to know people on a personal level.  He has the uncanny ability to remember conversations and seemingly obscure details, which makes everyone he speaks with feel important and valued.

Supervisor Nottoli’s public service and genuine care for this community will always be appreciated.
