RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - The Mitchell Marauders wrestling team took on competitors from throughout the greater Sacramento area and beyond at tournament at the Spring View Middle School Wrestling tournament in Rocklin on December 16.

In the Varsity Boys Division 8th Grader Zander Tran took first place wrestling at the 116 pounds with four impressive victories. 6th Grader David Holtz (70) scored four victories to earn first place honors in the Junior Varsity Boys Division, and 7th Grader Jayden McCullar (135) won four matches to win the Girls Division.  Earning second place finishes were Moses Alvarez (89) varsity and Hayden Barton (138) JV, while Aiden Senner (98) JV won a third place finish.
