Groups Come Together To Give Out Groceries and More at Event on Saturday

SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - Convoy of Hope is partnering with Elevate Life Church, the Rid’s Kids Foundation and the Cameron Champ Foundation to spread kindness to residents in the Sacramento area at 10 a.m. this Saturday, June 29. 

What: This free event offers groceries, shoes, socks and more. No identification is required and all are welcome. For entertainment, Elevate Life will be hosting a 3-on-3 basketball tournament. The Cameron Champ Foundation will also provide a gaming trailer for kids to enjoy. 

Where: Bowling Green Park | 4125 49th Ave., Sacramento, CA 95823 

Why: These organizations are working together to build stronger communities through generosity and kindness, and to provide an opportunity for local community volunteers to help their neighbors in a tangible way. 

Who: All are invited from the communities of Florin, Lemon Hill and greater Sacramento.
