Decide Which is The American River Burger Champion

SACRAMENTO REGION, CA (MPG) - The American River Parkway Foundation invites Sacramento-area community members to Discovery Park for the American River Burger Battle.
Top local chefs will battle it out at Discovery Park from noon to 4 p.m. May 17 to be crowned the burger champion.
Featured chefs will be Santana Diaz from the University of California at Davis, Patricio Wise from Nixtaco, Sam Shafer from Kimpton Sawyer, Sacramento City Fire Department, Sacramento Metro Fire District, Adam Pechal, Pedro Depina from The 7th Street Standard, and Curvey Brown from Stone’s Gambling Hall.
Celebrity judges will be local attorney Ann Phoong, MMA fighter Uriah “The California Kid” Faber, Assemblymember Maggie Krell and food aficionado Rick Mindermann of Corti Bros.
The $75 admission includes tastes of each burger, local brews and nonalcoholic drinks, voting privileges and music from DJ Skyhawk.
