SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - The 11th annual Senior Health and Resource Fair is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Wyndham Sacramento Hotel off Hwy 80 at Madison. The event features exhibits to make the lives of senior citizens happier, healthier and longer. This senior expo will cover an array of approaches to the various health and financial concerns of older Americans.

Attendees may learn the latest about Medicare and Medicaid and speak directly with Social Security staff. They can learn how to protect themselves from scams that prey on senior citizens and they may get their Fall shots conveniently at the Walgreens’ booth.

Entertainment includes the Spare Parts Band playing music that spans from early Rock-n-Roll to classic Blues and Country, and award-winning tribute artist Johnny Reno, will perform the hits of “The King.” A classic car display will be provided by members of the California Auto Museum.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wyndham Sacramento NE, 5321 Date Avenue, (Off Hwy 80 at Madison). Admission and parking are free to the public.
