RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - Hundreds of community members gathered on Saturday, Sept. 13, to “Meet the Machines” at Cordova Recreation and Park District’s (CRPD) annual event.
From impressive emergency vehicles and construction equipment to a hot air balloon bursting with flames, youth had the unique opportunity to climb aboard and explore a wide variety of machines and vehicles up close. The event also featured a train ride, tricycle race, music and more fun.
Beyond having fun, families had the opportunity to interact with the professionals who operate these machines every day, gaining valuable insights and learning firsthand about the important roles these vehicles play in our community.

This event was made possible by Sacramento Area Sewer District and A&E Air Jumpers, and a special thank you to Cordova Recreation and Park District Director Brian Danzl for donating hard hats for the youth.
