RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) – On Friday, Oct. 10, Rancho Cordova’s Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of the first Peek-A-Boo Factory in the Sacramento region with a ribbon cutting.

The new Rancho Cordova indoor playground facility has several unique features, said Peek-A-Boo Factory founder Sophia Cheng, including a timed Ninja course and a princess room for birthday parties, which will run in partnership with Parties by Megan Ashley (@parties.by.megan.ashley on Instagram).

A larger party room can be decorated and personalized to cater to individual children’s interests.

To kick off the ribbon cutting, Lane Gonick-Hallows, field representative from Assemblyman Josh Hoover’s office, presented Cheng with a certificate of recognition.

“This is a beautiful space. It looks so welcoming to kids,” Gonick-Hallows said.

Rancho Cordova Area Chamber of Commerce business development manager Pam Garcia presented Cheng with a proclamation for the new business.

“Whereas each Peek-A-Boo Factory location provides a clean, climate controlled and supervised environment, the business has expanded to include affordable, hassle-free birthday parties and experiences … and Peek-A-Boo Factory fosters a community that celebrates imagination and togetherness, enriching the lives of the families here in Rancho Cordova,” Garcia read from the proclamation.

When choosing a Sacramento region location, Cheng said she was surprised to discover how family and community-oriented the city of Rancho Cordova is and how many young families there are. Cheng expressed gratitude in seeing the new location come to fruition.

The Peek-A-Boo factory is suitable for children (and parents) of all ages, with a toddler space offering stimulating activities, timed Mario and ninja-themed courses for older children and comfortable, colorful seating for parents and guardians to observe their children.

Peek-A-Boo factory staff, Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce members and other community members, including Miss Rancho Cordova, Ilana Tran, participated in the ribbon cutting event.

Peek-A-Boo Factory, at 11270 Sanders Drive, Suite A, Rancho Cordova, is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekends. For more information, visit peekaboofactory.com/rancho-cordova.
