RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - The Lincoln Village Community Pool was full of happy dogs and community members on Saturday, Sept. 27 at Cordova Recreation and Park District’s annual Barktoberfest event.

The community gathered for a day of fun around the pool with their furry friends. From the beer garden hosted by the Sacramento Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to the many vendor booths, it was a tail-wagging success that everyone enjoyed.

Attendees enjoyed refreshing drinks and delicious food while watching the festivities unfold, which included contests for Best Dressed Duo, Fastest Lap Swim and Most Focused Dog. Adding to the fun, local businesses and organizations offered a range of pet care essentials, stylish accessories, information on local services, pet portrait photography and more, ensuring both pups and their owners had memorable experiences.
