SACRAMENTO REGION, CA (MPG) - Sierra Donor Services (SDS) is excited to partner with the popular restaurant chain Texas Roadhouse for a three-day promotional event encouraging guests to register as life-saving organ, eye and tissue donors.

With nearly 20,000 Californians waiting for a life-saving transplant, this partnership highlights Texas Roadhouse’s dedication to compassion and community impact. Together, SDS and Texas Roadhouse strive to inspire guests to leave a legacy of hope by registering as organ donors and offering those in need a second chance at life.

“This new partnership spearheads a campaign that hopes to inspire more restaurants to join in the cause and make a direct and immediate impact in their own communities, and we’re grateful for their support,” said Sean Van Slyck, Chief Executive Officer of Sierra Donor Services.

The promotional event will take place from Nov. 7 to Nov. 9. On Friday and Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Hosted at Texas Roadhouse, located at 6309 Sunrise Boulevard, Citrus Heights.

During this special promotion, registered donors will receive a free Cactus Blossom appetizer. In addition, 10% of the dining proceeds from this event will be donated to support SDS’s Lifesaver Nursing Scholarship Program, which helps advance education for aspiring nurses.
