City Offers $2,500 in Scholarships to Seniors

RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) – The City of Rancho Cordova will award two $1,250 Community Pride Scholarships to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate outstanding community service, leadership and academic achievement.
The scholarships are available to students who are graduating in 2026 and either live within Rancho Cordova city limits or attend a high school located in the city. To verify your address visit https://arcg.is/1e0mOK2.
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and be accepted to or enrolled in an accredited community college, university, technical school or the military.
The Community Pride Scholarship was created and is funded by city employees. According to the city’s website, the program matches $1 for every hour city employees volunteer within the Rancho Cordova community.

Applications are due by 5 p.m. Friday, March 20. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
