RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - The Folsom Cordova Unified School District (FCUSD) Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA), in partnership with the Special Education Community Advisory Committee (CAC) and the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Department, proudly celebrated an extraordinary evening of creativity at the Art Show on March 10.

Held in the Boardroom of the Educational Services Center, the event brought together families, educators, students and district leaders for a joyful showcase of artistic expression and community connection.

This year’s exhibition featured over 360 pieces of student artwork representing 35 classes across the district. From vibrant paintings and mixed‑media pieces to thoughtful sketches and collaborative class projects, the artwork reflected the diverse talents, perspectives and voices of Folsom Cordova Unified School District students. Each piece told a story of imagination, identity, courage and the unique ways students see and experience the world.

The Art Show was more than an exhibition; it was a celebration of community. It honored the collaboration between Special Education Local Plan Are, Special Education Community Advisory Committee and the Social Emotional Learning Department, and it showcased what becomes possible when we create spaces where every student’s voice is seen, heard and valued.

Thank you to the students, families, teachers, paraeducators, administrators and volunteers who made this event such a meaningful success. Your support helps ensure that creativity, inclusion and student voice remain at the heart of Folsom Cordova Unified School District.
