RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - Students, families and staff gathered April 28 at the Cordova High School Performing Arts Center, 2239 Chase Drive, for the fourth annual FCUSD International Night, an evening celebrating culture, student talent and community across the Folsom Cordova Unified School District (FCUSD).
Hosted by the district’s Student Advisory Board, the event ran from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and drew a large crowd from across Rancho Cordova and surrounding areas. Organizers said the annual program is designed to highlight the district’s diversity while creating opportunities for students to take the lead in planning and presenting the event.

Cultural booths created by students lined the venue, featuring displays that represented traditions, histories and identities from a wide range of backgrounds. Attendees moved from table to table, engaging with student presenters, asking questions and learning more about the cultures represented within the district’s schools.
On stage, student performances brought energy to the evening, with music and dance acts reflecting a variety of cultural traditions. Each performance drew enthusiastic applause from the audience. A student-led fashion show added another highlight, showcasing traditional attire alongside modern interpretations, with participants presenting their heritage with confidence and pride.
District officials said International Night continues to grow each year as a student-driven event that strengthens connections across the community. They credited the Student Advisory Board, along with teachers, staff and families, for helping organize the program and support student participation.
