Senior Fair Offers Health, Help and Fun

SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - The 12th annual Senior Health and Resource Fair will return Saturday, June 20, at the Wyndham Sacramento Northeast Hotel, offering older adults and caregivers access to health information, community services and live entertainment.
The free event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 5321 Date Ave., near Highway 80 and Madison Avenue. Admission and parking are free.
Attendees will have an opportunity to connect with organizations and businesses focused on senior health, financial planning, disability resources and aging services. Information on Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security will be available, along with tips on avoiding scams that commonly target older adults.

Live entertainment will include performances by the Spare Parts Band, featuring classic rock, blues and country music, and Elvis tribute artist Johnny Reno, who will perform songs made famous by Elvis Presley. Photo courtesy of Senior Health and Resource Fair
Walgreens representatives are expected to provide convenient vaccinations during the event. Additional exhibitors will offer information on hearing services, mobility assistance, no-cost telephones for seniors and other support programs.

Organizers said the event is designed to help seniors and their families learn about available resources while enjoying a day of entertainment and community connection.
