RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) – Several road improvement and traffic safety projects are moving forward across Rancho Cordova as the city’s Public Works Department continues efforts to maintain and enhance local streets.

Construction is currently underway on the second phase of the Countryside Neighborhood Street Rehabilitation Project. The project includes roadway rehabilitation, drainage infrastructure upgrades and the installation of high-visibility roadway markings. City officials expect work to be completed this summer.

Additional improvements are planned for the South White Rock Road and Stone Creek neighborhoods. The upcoming surface treatment project will include pavement repairs, roadway surface treatments, updated striping and bike lane markings, as well as other safety enhancements intended to improve driving conditions and extend the lifespan of neighborhood streets. Construction is expected to begin in mid-summer.

The city is also preparing to launch Phases Seven and Eight of its Neighborhood Traffic Management Program. Planned improvements will be made along Bridlewood Drive, Borderlands Drive, Canyonlands Drive and White Rock Road.
