RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - Rancho Cordova residents are invited to celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 4, during an evening focused on strengthening neighborhood connections and building relationships with local law enforcement.

Hosted by the Rancho Cordova Police Department and the City of Rancho Cordova, the annual event encourages residents to meet their neighbors, connect with police officers and learn more about neighborhood watch programs and community safety initiatives.

National Night Out is observed each year on the first Tuesday in August, with millions of people participating in communities across all 50 states, U.S. territories and military installations around the world. The event is designed to promote crime prevention, public safety and community partnerships through neighborhood gatherings and family-friendly activities.
