RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - Something wicked this way comes — The Rancho Cordova River City Concert Band invites the community to an evening of musical mayhem, monstrous melodies and magical mischief at “Monsters, Magic and Mayhem – A Spooktacular Night of Music” on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 6:15 p.m. at Heartstoppers Haunted House, 2300 Mine Shaft Lane, Rancho Cordova.

This fang-tastic concert promises to be a hauntingly good time for music lovers, Halloween enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys a little musical mischief with their moonlight. The costumed members of the Rancho Cordova River City Concert Band will fill the night with familiar favorites and spooky selections guaranteed to raise a few goosebumps.

The evening’s musical tricks and treats will include “Ghostbusters,” a Disney Villains medley, music from “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “The Munsters,” film music from “Hocus Pocus,” “The Monster Mash” and many more hauntingly entertaining selections.

Whether you come for the music, the monsters or simply because you’ve been dying to hear a great concert, there’s something for everyone. Expect creepy classics, wickedly fun arrangements and enough musical magic to make even the ghosts want to stick around for an encore.

And the best part? The concert is free! Please note that admission to Heartstoppers Haunted House is not included with the concert. Those brave enough to venture into the haunted house can make a night of it—but concertgoers are welcome to enjoy the musical festivities without purchasing haunted-house admission.
