WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) – On Oct. 13, Minor League Baseball announced Sacramento River Cats Manager of Sports Sales Training, Kallie Harding, as the Future Star Award winner. MiLB recognized award winners at the 2026 End of Year Awards Show at the MiLB Business Summit in Louisville.

Harding is the first Future Star Award winner for Sacramento since the award’s inception in 2021.

The Future Star Award recognizes the accomplishments of a successful young professional by highlighting their contributions, dedication and demonstrated leadership potential.

“I’m grateful to be recognized with this honor and humbled to work for an organization that has allowed me the opportunity to accomplish so much in just my first season,” said Harding. “This award is a reflection of the entire River Cats team that has fostered a supportive environment and trusted me to make an impact.”

Kallie joined the River Cats in January taking over the CATalyst Sports Sales Training program, transforming it from a promising first-year program into a disciplined, revenue-producing career accelerator.

She recruited and hired 13 new members, while also guiding seven of the existing participants to promotions. Through July, the team of first-year staff she manages produced over one-fifth of the club's total sales revenue and nearly quintupled the amount generated by the entire 2025 CATalyst class.

The River Cats CATalyst team contributed to incredible multi-property success in a one-of-a-kind setting, selling across all Sutter Health Park tenants including the Athletics and special events like Banana Ball and Cosmic Baseball.

She reinvented the CATalayst onboarding program and created a 12-month course that delivered seven monthly training modules covering meeting fundamentals, B2B basics and personal branding.

Kallie has led multiple recruiting events at local universities and represented the River Cats at TeamWork Online’s Bay Area regional event. She promotes the program publicly and celebrates her representative achievements nearly every week.

In less than a year, Kallie has multiplied River Cats revenue, built systems, promoted people and strengthened the talent pipeline for the entire industry.

“This award reflects both the tremendous impact Kallie has already made on our organization and her bright future in this industry,” said Bo Farley, Sacramento River Cats director of ticket sales and sales enablement. “We’re proud to see her earn this well-deserved recognition.”
