SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (MPG) - Juniper Creek Energy Storage contributed a $7,500 community grant during the third quarter of 2026, benefiting United Way California Capital Region.
The funding will support Rancho Cordova KinderCamp, a summer school-readiness program for incoming kindergartners who did not have the opportunity to attend preschool.
“KinderCamp is about building confidence and surrounding every child with the support they need to walk into kindergarten ready to learn,” said Dr. Dawnté Early, president and CEO, United Way California Capital Region. “Thank you to Juniper Creek Energy Storage for their support of this program. When we invest in our children’s education together as families, educators and as a community, we create a brighter path not just for our kids, but for our region.”
KinderCamp provides students with learning opportunities focused on math, literacy, social interaction, and problem-solving, while also offering books, healthy lunches, and hygiene education.
Juniper Creek Energy Storage is a proposed battery storage project developed by Vesper Energy in Sacramento County, California. Once operational, the project will deliver reliable, American-made energy while supporting local economic development and generating long-term tax revenue for the local community.
The project team continues to engage with community stakeholders to identify opportunities for investment. Community organizations are encouraged to apply for future grant opportunities at www.junipercreekstorageca.com.
