RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - Local author Crystel Patterson visited Rancho Cordova’s Cordova Villa Elementary School on May 20 to read her book “I am Different” to third graders and talk about her book series, “Inspired to Be…”.
Each child received a copy of the book, and volunteers then visited other classrooms to read to students and deliver books to each child. The event was part of United Way Kids Read, a partnership with school districts across the region to provide book readings and free books to elementary school children throughout the spring.
